राष्ट्रीय एवं अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महत्त्व की सामयिक घटनाएँ

राष्ट्रीय व अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महत्त्व की समसामयिक घटनाओं पर अभ्यर्थियों को जानकारी रखनी होगी.

भारत का इतिहास एवं भारतीय राष्ट्रीय आन्दोलन

इतिहास के अंतर्गत भारतीय इतिहास के सामाजिक, आर्थिक एवं राजनीतिक पक्षों की व्यापक जानकारी पर विशेष ध्यान देना होगा. भारतीय राष्ट्रीय आन्दोलन पर अभ्यर्थियों से स्वतंत्रता आन्दोलन की प्रकृति तथा विशेषता, राष्ट्रवाद का अभ्युदय तथा स्वतंत्रता प्राप्ति के बारे में सामान्य जानकारी अपेक्षित है.

भारत एवं विश्व का भूगोल

विश्व भूगोल में विषय की केवल सामान्य जानकारी की परख की जाएगी. भारत का भूगोल के अंतर्गत देश के भौतिक, सामाजिक और आर्थिक भूगोल से सम्बंधित प्रश्न होंगे.

भारतीय राजनीति एवं शासन

भारतीय राज्य व्यवस्था, अर्थव्यवस्था एवं संस्कृति के अंतर्गत देश के पंचायती राज तथा सामुदायिक विकास सहित राजनीतिक प्रणाली के ज्ञान तथा भारत की आर्थिक नीति के व्यापक लक्षणों एवं भारतीय संस्कृति की जानकारी पर प्रश्न होंगे.

आर्थिक एवं सामाजिक विकास

सतत विकास, गरीबी, अंतर्विष्ट जनसांख्यिकीय, सामाजिक क्षेत्र में हुए पहल आदि पर प्रश्न रहेंगे. अभ्यर्थियों की जानकारी का परीक्षण जनसंख्या, पर्यावरण तथा नगरीकरण की समस्याओं तथा उनके संबंधों के परिप्रेक्ष्य में किया जायेगा.

पर्यावरण एवं पारिस्थितिकी

इस विषय में विषय विशेषज्ञता की आवश्यकता नहीं है. अभ्यर्थियों से पर्यावरण एवं पारिस्थितिकी, जैव विविधता एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन की सामान्य जानकारी अपेक्षित है.

सामान्य विज्ञान

सामान्य विज्ञान के प्रश्न दैनिक अनुभव तथा प्रेक्षण से सम्बंधित विषयों सहित विज्ञान के सामान्य परिबोध एवं जानकारी पर आधारित होंगे जिसकी किसी भी सुशिक्षित व्यक्ति से अपेक्षा की जा सकती है, जिसने वैज्ञानिक विषयों का विशेष अध्ययन नहीं किया है.

नोट: अभ्यर्थियों से यह अपेक्षित होगा कि उत्तर प्रदेश परिप्रेक्ष्य में उपर्युक्त विषयों का उन्हें सामान्य परिचय हो.
